This is the authors’ journey from fear of writing to the blessing of writing for God.

Prelude to 2015: Memories, 'Muggsy', Tulips & Metaphors

As the New Year is fast approaching I find myself looking back with fondness for memories created and forward with expectation of what lies ahead.

Looking back at the teenager I was at 16 who was experiencing her first and soon to discover only white Christmas while dad was heading the aeronautical engineering team that built the Gemini fuel cell which got us into space in a big way and was the precursor for all fuel cell technology, I find myself thinking about that bitter cold winter my dad and brother Ron built a mock-up of that yet to work fuel cell for his required science project, and a Bull Dog called 'Muggsy' by all who knew him.

In loving memory of that season of my life, and in preparation for what will come once our 2015 New Year's celebration is done, I've posted Tulips because Tulips were what ‘Muggsy’ loved best and once my mom saw that arthritic pooch’s legs bent in pain as he laboriously made his way up the hill to our front door to snap one tulip off its stem then leave to do the same again the following morn as we kids headed off to school, this act of perseverance in the face of untold pain, defined 'Muggsy' as much as my mom taking another bulb from her stash in the refrigerator where they were kept at just the right temperature throughout the year so they would bloom when planted.

With all her grumbling to the contrary I think mom understood 'Muggsy'. In fact, I wondered if she weren’t planting another bulb so there would be a Tulip for him to snap off.  And then one day I knew the answer to that question, for arriving home just as the snow stopped falling so hard one could barely see, Ron and I were sent to scour the neighborhood in search of that old dog. Unable to find him, we returned home and found mom in the kitchen crying. No more tulips were planted and our mornings were less joyful.  So whether you’ve a 'Muggsy' in your life or not, please be thankful for all that you’ve got and as you usher in the New Year remember that everything is passing so…

'No Home for the Holidays: A True Life Lesson' by Paula Rose Michelson

For as long as I could remember we never spoke of Christmas. Nor was anyone that we knew or associated with in any way, shape, or form invited into our home if they were involved in that holiday. However, that changed one winter’s day when a needy family knocked on our front door.
            Although we still lived near Boston, in a somewhat remote hamlet called Lynnfield, dad had promised mom that we would be in Palm Springs before snow flew. Yet as I opened the door and peered into the twilight it seemed that snow covered our walk and driveway. I knew it was an early snow because those who lived in this community told us to consider ourselves lucky to have a sign of snow before that holiday which we seldom mentioned passed.
            “Glad I found ya’ ta’ home,” the bedraggled man said. He doffed what might have been a hat. Then remembered he had none and turned towards a woman about his age whom I believed to be his wife.
            “Seems like they might have something worth seeing,” she whispered to him.
            He nodded, took a piece of wrinkled newspaper from his pocket, looked at it and asked, “You the Izzien’s.”
            “Eisen,” I said. “We’re the Eisen’s.”
            “Pleased ta’ meet ya’.” Since each of his children had grabbed one of his hands, he shook one free. Using his teeth to pull off his glove, he pumped mine. “Mighty happy you’re ta’ home. It’s real cold…can we come in?”
            Before I could think what to do, they were standing the hallway.
            “Whose there Paula?” mom asked. I was never so happy to hear her voice as I was then for it seemed to me that this family had stepped out of the pages of a Dickens novel.
            “S’cuse us mam,” the man said. “We come ta’ see what you all is sellin’.’”
            My mom had always been a stickler for checking people out before she invited them in. So I breathed a sigh of relief and stationed myself by the front door knob ready to show them out. However, much to my chagrin, mom leaned over the banister, smiled at the brood and waved them up. I followed. When they arrived at the upper landing dad met them. I was certain he was going to ask them to leave. Instead, he pumped the man’s hand. “Glad you could get here before we packed everything up and shipped it to California.”
            I looked from my father to this threadbare family, not a coat between them and wondered how they could pay for anything. Before I could muster enough courage to ask if they were shoppers who could pay, mom came out of the kitchen holding the pad of yellow paper she always wrote her shopping list on and a pencil. “Now let’s see what you’d like to have.”
            “Mighty Christian of you,” the woman mumbled.
            “Think I want to shelp all this stuff across country when we can help you furnish a place for a few dollars!”
            “That’s right,” my dad said. He ushered them into the kitchen. By the time, he handed the man and woman a cup of coffee, mom was setting out milk and cookies for their kids.
            I wondered if I was awake or dreaming when I heard mom lament, “It’s hard to have your home and everything you own burn down so close to Christmas.”
            “Sure is mam’,” the man agreed.
            I heard the girl gulp back a sob. Turning towards her, I saw her brake down and wail, “I lost all my stuffed animals.”
            I understood what she meant because since we’d move across country my stuffed animals were my only friends. But as I looked at this girl I realized she had less than I did. In fact, when I looked at her shoes and saw that they were at least a size to large and broken, and hair that might have once sparkled from her mother’s combing, appeared tangled, I knew she had nothing. However, I believed she was unlike others facing this or worse, for although she was at least four years my junior; she stared at me as if daring me to make a snide remark.
            Once the couple had drained their cups, they stood.
            “Come with me,” mom said. When they followed mom I motioned for the girl to come with me.
            “Where are we going?” I led her down the hall to my bedroom, and pulled her in. Since there were stuffed animals galore, I’d expected her to pick one. Then I would give it to her. Instead, her eyes traveled to each one then back to me. “You sure have a lot of…” she sniffled. But she didn’t act as if she wanted any of them.
            Why it’s almost Christmas and she has no home, I reminded myself. Where could she put one of these if I gave it to her? It would probably look as rag-tag as she and her folks do within the week.
            She smiled and pretended to look at anything but my animal collection, while I looked at her and tried to figure out how a Christian who I’d always assumed would want every present on the planet could just look.
            Mom walked by and nodded. “You two getting along okay?”
            I shrugged.
            Dad and the man walked by carrying mom’s chest of drawers. “Paula, what are you doing teasing Sis like that?” he pointed to the stuffed animals on my bed.
            “It’ll be okay dad.” I closed the door.
            “What did ya’ do that fur?”
            “I didn’t want anyone snooping.”
             She nodded, then gulped back a sob. “I can’t be happy when my mom’s been cryin’ enough for all of us!”
            “You and your folks will feel better once you’ve picked out one of these animals!”
            Sis eyed me. “Really, you’re not sayin’ that to make fun of us?”
            I showed her three large packing boxes. “My folks have to pay for everything to be shipped to LA so you’d be doing us a favor if you took one or two with you.”
            “Really?”
            “Really!”
            While her eyes darted from one choice to another, I took a small packing box out of my closet. “I think your choices will fit in here.”
            “Oh that box can hold more than one stuffed animal,” she squealed with delight
            “I know that!”
            “Really…I should fill up this box?”
            “Really!” I watched as she chose certain ones and left others that she seemed to like more. At one point, she held the black velvet Siamese cat with foe diamond collar, which was almost half her height, and smile at me. Then she put it back and picked out the biggest, softest, and oldest stuffed animal I owned. I wondered why she chose that one since she hadn’t admired or petted it.
             I pointed to the threadbare relic of my toddler years. “Why did you choose this one?”
            “It’s real cold and until we get our insurance money what we’ve got got’s to last cause dad got fired the day our home burnt.”
            “Where are you sleeping?”
            “In our truck...It’s all we got.”
            I looked at Sis, turned saw my stuffed animals as a means of warmth during a cold winter’s snow, realized that at 16, I was too old for them, pulled out the big boxes and tossed the stuffed animals into the boxes.
            “What yo’ doing?”

            “Giving my stuffed animals a good home for the holidays!"

Worthy of Much More than 5 Stars! 'The Nativity Set: A Short Story' is MUST READ!

My 5 Star review says, “Transcending Yuletide Fair: Forever in My Heart! Though written to be enjoyed at Christmas, 'The Nativity Set' transcends those books that are strictly Yuletide fair for the themes lovingly captured with in resonated so much with this reader that I plan to gift and share this book throughout the year. For this story deals with family, love, finding, seeing, and sharing those blessings that all of us hunger for and few realize they have until those who bestowed these blessings are no more, are illuminate so beautifully here!

A better message for the 21st century reader, I have not read thus far. Therefore, my prayer is that those looking for a unique story to read, share, or gift chose this one especially since with the passing of each century those who come of age in the new one tend to think what went before may have little value or relevance for them. DeEtte Beckstead's exquisite short read, shows the timeless thread of family as Gramps lovingly passes a portion of his story, his legacy to his granddaughter who is there because she was told to go...and oh what she would have missed if she hadn't gone is something the author never touched upon, but a message received, rejoiced over for the granddaughter's sake, enjoyed, and forever treasured in this readers heart for a grandchild who did as she was bid and is and always will be the better for having gone!” http://amzn.to/13SJfNU

To Enter Perchance To Win!

At this time of year our hearts turn towards God with great expectation as if ‘we’ were soon to become the sheppard’s who at the birth of the promised Messiah would hear something akin to that ourselves. Yet it is in the rush of and for that better gift filled with feelings of excited expectation that we remember how we once awoke to see if Santa had come and left us our hearts desire. We adults, even those who live daily for Christ can find the holidays daunting. Perhaps there is less money, loved ones and friends have passed or moved far away. For many just the idea of being merry when there is so much unrest here and in the world and people are being killed daily to further radical agenda’s, might make us think that Christ isn’t coming back…or has waited too long and this once peaceful nation, guided by the belief that we were one nation under God, who blessed those who live here find ourselves at sixes and sevens with those who…

Trying to recapture that which is lost is like trying to become God and in that attempt we can either with or without our knowing it make ourselves out to be judge and jury of others. As the wife of a pastor and field missionary it saddens me to see this occurring though I understand that when there is a real or perceived void, we humans try to fill it in with something…but the reality is that all our attempts are futile for trying to do things in our own strength is how we got here in the first place.

I say all of this as a prelude to the reality that I am no different than my contemporaries. I to seek approval from others and desperately need to be considered worthy of…Yet, I am aware that should they find me worthy one moment and surrounded by smiling faces, in the next I could experience the antithesis of this. But God, in Matthew 3:16-17 has given us His answer. Before you read it, please know that the moment you received Gods forever forgiveness, he saw you as he sees me, for we are in Messiah and as such are seen without blemish or defect! So when we read the Matthew 3:16-17 passage we know that God sees us as he saw his son so please read the scripture and receive God’s blessing! As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting on him. And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.

Now all of this said I know feeling God’s blessing is different from walking in it. This is where the rubber meets the road, and where ones entering a contest to win accolades can be fraught with DANGER! Not danger from above, or from others, but the danger that lurks within. The danger I speak of is the belief that if one fails to achieve the pinnacle of…our silent fears are well founded and we are nothing.

Yet all those we read about in scripture's Faith chapter beginning with father Abraham dealt with their human nature and desire to become somebody of... To do likewise, we do not pretend to be other than we are, but knowing fully who we are we accept the challenges and press on.

It is then that winning becomes a moot point, for though winning is nice, walking with God is best!

1/2 off from Christmas till 2/15 “Can there be forgiveness between these two?” Lindsay Townsend asked in her 5 Star Review.

“Opening where "No Other Choice" stops, "Choosing to Be" reveals the often difficult and emotionally charged journey of faith that the two main characters, Naomi and Chaz have to make. They must learn to put aside fear and anger, to understand and to finally forgive.

The author does not diminish the tasks in front of the young married couple, nor lessen the emotional stakes that are involved. This is a multi-layered read, as should be in a saga that explores the deep issues of faith and history, unafraid to reveal how the struggle for reconciliation and forgiveness is an on-going one. It is also a study in a religious community, of the wonders of faith working through women and men.”  http://amzn.to/1zK3rPC

About Paula Rose Michelson
As a Messianic Jew, Paula Rose Michelson wanted to write about life, love, choices, and forgiveness. She researched what befell the Jews baptized into the Catholic faith to survive the Inquisition. When Paula began writing, Naomi started talking to her.

Though her story is unique, Naomi's issues of fear and hiding are universal. Having an extensive background in recovery as a Chemical Dependency - Lifestyle Disorder Councilor, worked with The Rubicon Center, and founded LAMB Ministries in 1988 to mentor women suffering from trauma and abuse, the author knows that the issues Naomi has are those seen in anyone who is masking their real pain. That is why six inspirational romances were written, three of which have been published.

Paula told me that continuing to mentor women like Naomi the way God mentored her, she recently published her first of seven Christian Self-Help books stemming from this work. Her joy in having had an issue ladened life until Christ freed her is that it equipped this author to write books and articles to encourage and show God's mercy, love and forgiveness.www.PaulaRoseMichelson.com

5 STARS! Written by a Child to Give Toys to Tots! Gifting this to Kids- A Role Model MUST!

My Review of Serenity's Heart

Originally I posted this last November. However, my celebration of Messiah’s birth would be incomplete if I didn’t repost my review of ‘Serenity's Heart’. Written by a 10 year old to raise money as she does yearly to buy toys for needy children, I think this book will capture heart as much as  author  Kathy-Jean  Bagley’s  desire to help others did mine!

Within the pages of ‘Serenity's Heart’, you’ll meet parents who have a wish to make there your daughters dream come true. This small book gives us a glimpse into this a child's and families life affirming values that create a loving reality for all. An endearing read, I loved it when Serenity stops what she is doing to talk to her reader!

Since it is unusual for a young child to write and have a book published, I did a little investigating and discovered that last year Kathy Jean cleaned houses so she'd be able to have money to buy toys for needy kids. This year, she's written this book, which she hopes you will buy so she can give many more toys next year than all the other years combined!  http://amzn.to/1caC96Z

Meet Author Kathy-Jean Bagley
Kathy-Jean Bagley (now twelve years old) was ten when she wrote her story about Serenity's Heart and how thrilled she would be to go to a talent show in New York City.  A competitive little girl with a huge imagination, Kathy-Jean is a homeschooled, curious child ready to take on anything that interests her.

Kathy-Jean is also very kind and tender-hearted and compassionate toward other people and their problems. All her young life she has been especially concerned about children that are under-privileged and has pledged a great portion of her little book sales toward them. She does chores and various tasks at times for family and neighbors to help them and to be able to help under-privileged. She's already filling up the Toys for Tot box.

Paula Rose Michelson's 5 Star Review says, "Take a Bite of ‘Christmas Cake’ and Experience God's Love!"

It seems in this season of blessing that I almost missed one! I say that because as an indie author eager to promote my books, I was doing what most do to let readers and shoppers know about them in the hope they might feel one would be what they were looking for to bless a friend or loved one who, like me, have found some of their happiest moments within the pages of a now much treasured story.

However, the Lord used a budding friendship to encourage me to download and read `The Christmas Cake', and I shall be forever grateful! I say this though I must confess when I told the author her book was nestled within my Kindle, she told me that the recipe was at the back of the book, I tersely replied, "I don't bake!" But having wept sad and then joyful tears as I read this amazing story, I must share that I will bake the `Christmas Cake' every year and gift it and this story to those I don't know as well as those I hold dear!

For as the wife of a pastor and missionary, I have longed for and written stories to call the wandering home and cause the lost to secure a forever in eternity with my Savior and Lord. All of this Joyce Swann has done in her tender loving story completed, I believe, when the reader takes a bite of `Christmas Cake'! So if you, like me, wish to share the greatest love do it with this cake, which speaks of God's eternal love for each of us and when you do remember the givers gift is complete for there, much like this story, is nothing more to say. Of this Amazon Top 100 in Fiction, Neil Bowers’ 5 Star Review of ‘NO OTHER CHOICE’ says…

'Brilliantly conceived, meticulously researched, a compelling read!

As a member of a writer's group, I was impressed at the number of rave reviews I was seeing for Paula Rose Michelson's "No Other Choice: The Naomi Chronicles, Book One."

Like most men, I am not naturally drawn to the genre of romance fiction, but after several months of reading glowing reviews, my curiosity won out. Then, too, I have a love for "all things history," and this was a work of historical fiction in an area about which I knew very little.

Marvelously researched, and rich in cultural flavor this is a beautiful tapestry of interwoven lives, each one touched, whether knowingly or unknowingly, by the insidious influences that helped to shape them, their prejudices, and their beliefs.

The story line, with its unexpected twists, is brilliantly conceived, and the author builds an empathy for her characters that has the reader caring about them before the tale is half told. It is a thoroughly enjoyable read, and a window into a world I did not know still existed well into our modern times.

At the end, I read the ‘Historical Notes’ and the authors interviews titled ‘Sephardic Voices’ where three people shared the reality upon which this fiction becomes historical.  I was dumbfounded to discover that something I had relegated to the dusty, ‘man's atrocities to man through the ages’ category, did NOT end hundreds of years ago. Rather, it destroyed, or wreaked havoc on, every life it touched for an incredible 500 years, finally breathing its last as the end to the 20th century drew near. And it is near the end of this centuries-old backdrop of contrasting cruelty and suffering, seething hatred and quiet resolve, which the `The Naomi Chronicles’ saga begins.' Available in Kindle: http://amzn.to/1tN7hEp

5 Stars from Warrior Princes - “A Literary Gem!”

'I have read and immensely enjoyed Paula Rose Michelson’s previous books about Naomi and was delighted to have a chance to read her latest novel. Just like the title states, Naomi’s life feels like it’s beginning anew in this book. Naomi and her husband Chaz seem to have resolved the problem of Naomi’s past that caused a major conflict in their relationship, and Naomi is happy to be starting life with Chaz with a fresh start.

Feeling like a caterpillar turning into a beautiful butterfly with Chaz’s love, Naomi is excited their remolded casa, she is in love, and looking forward to providing shelter in her house, her Casa de Naomi, as Chaz calls it, to young girls, like she used to be not to so long ago.

Naomi is amazed to discover that all the women who had previously owned her house were Spanish Jews, just like her. She wonders how it was possible 'for three generations of Sephardic women still practicing the Jewish faith in secret to live and work' in that house and community 'without being discovered.'

But it’s not just the women who have (or had) a secret. Soon, Naomi will discover that Chaz, her husband, has a secret himself. And that’s just the beginning of this exciting inspirational story of love, romance, suspense, and spiritual journey.

Paula Rose Michelson writes in an engaging and beautiful style, leading her readers on a fascinating journey together with Chaz and Naomi.

This is an emotional story that many readers will be able to relate to, no matter what faith they belong to. The characters are real, and their struggles are believable and life-like.

A wonderful novel that will inspire you, educate you, and keep you turning the pages until the very last line.' http://amzn.to/1g4WSvF

A MUCH NEEDED AUTHOR MARKETING RESOURCE!

I love sharing great info! And today, while a nonfiction author friend was sharing her journey with me, she mentioned a blog where authors...award winning Christian authors have posted links to information I've been looking for.

As an Indie Author, I've been sadly aware that I'm not a PR guru, for I don't have the know how to let readers know about my books. As odd as it may seem today's topic for my 'Just FRIENDS' Facebook Group was 'Marketing'. A few successful authors dropped by to share and their suggestions were one's I knew of and done.

However, having decided to publish in E-book format what I needed was a marketing plan for doing something I didn't know how to do. I'd tried everything I knew and was amazed and blessed when three of my books: 'No Other Choice' a romance, 'How Did We Become Angry?' self-help, and 'From Why Johnny Can't Read' to "See Paula Write' a 12 page memoir written to encourage made Amazon's Top 100 List several times.

Yet being unable to understand how to become visible for more than a nanosecond, I knew I needed information. Since Social Media seemed to be the logical solution, I spent more time and... I finally had to admit that I didn't know diddly!

In this case the blessings flowed both ways! For while helping my author friend; she gave me the link to a blog where many of 13 Christian Fiction Award Winning Authors shared what was looking for!  http://www.seekerville.blogspot.com/

'The Best Archives' section http://bit.ly/1FVTleb  is loaded with info on how to market and links to other resources, which I've downloaded for free, or bought! An incredible blessing!

Author, JL Michell’s 5 Star Review says, “Fascinating!”

"Paula Rose Michelson's novel, 'No Other Choice: The Naomi Chronicles' is simply fascinating as you read about Naomi's world. This fifteen-year old Jewish girl 'knew she was in trouble the moment that the immigration official told her he was taking her to Ellis Island.' I could feel the waves hitting the ship as Naomi closed her eyes, as she thought back to the day that the old woman died, and Naomi could still hear herself scream, "Abuela Sosa, please do not be dead."

As I read the pages of ‘No Other Choice’, I felt like I was there, too. In the boat, 'Naomi kept still, not even opening her eyes to look at the Statue of Liberty, as her thoughts traveled back to the moment she sobbed and sobbed as she tried to shake the old woman awake, while the old woman's daughter-in-law was packing Naomi's suitcase, the young girl screamed, "I gave you a year of my life because you promised you'd help me enter America and search for my uncle.'”

This author has a knack for the written word and makes you feel like you're in the scene, taking every step they're taking, even to the point of hearing the click of the suitcase as the daughter-in-law rushed the young girl away!

When the old boat docked, Naomi opened her eyes as a man grabbed her arm and hurried her into a building down a dark corridor. The immigration office shuts down at 5 pm, the workers were in a hurry to get home and they did not know what to do with Naomi. An elderly lady named Tia handcuffs Naomi to her arm and takes her to live at her `casa' to work for her the next five years.

Did Naomi stay?

NO OTHER CHOICE ~ Amazon top RANKED MUST READ ~ Katie Mettner's lovely 5 Star Review!

I have gotten to know Ms. Michelson over the past few months and set about the journey of reading ‘No Other Choice: The Naomi Chronicles, Book One’. Am I ever glad I did!

The author writes with such love and knowledge of the Lord that it comes through on every page. Whether Naomi is distraught or happy, she trusts that He will help her and lead her to the answers she needs.

An excellent job of explaining all of the history of the Jewish people's plight without making it complicated or boring, is an added feature, for this book takes you back in time and gives you such an in depth glance at how heartbreaking their story truly is.

Naomi is a strong, beautiful poignant character and you get to hear her darkest fears and celebrate with her greatest achievements.

When you finish, Ms. Michelson leaves you to think about all Naomi has been through (and thus the Jewish people as well) only to bring you back to the second book to find out what happens next in the saga. I highly recommend ‘No Other Choice’!  http://amzn.to/1tN7hEp

RANKED #60 in KINDLE from the Girl Who Couldn't Read!

--------------------------------- Ranked # 60 in KINDLE ---------------------------

Can't learn? I wrote this to encourage YOU! http://amzn.to/SQetiN

From ‘Why Johnny Can’t Read’ to “See Paula Write”

Being unable to learn until the third grade when it was discovered that she was very nearsighted, and at age 60 realizing that she was profoundly dyslexic, author Paula Rose Michelson shares her journey from fear of writing to the blessing of writing for God.

Since many have shared this article with those who need to overcome and seen individuals move from shame and hiding to a healthy understanding of life issues and the hidden blessings that can be found within, the author realized many more might benefit from reading about her deep, dark secret, which she only began to speak of when the release date for her first book was approaching.

Were it not for all God had shown her, Paula, like many others faced with unseen handicaps, believes she would not have spoken of or written about her journey. She does so now with confidence that as Philippians 1:6 says, "...being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”

How Did We Become Angry 1/2 OFF Biblical help 4 YOU!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~NOW 1/2 PRICE ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
           YOU had no choice, now YOU can have a VOICE!  http://amzn.to/1gljn
Shelia Deeth’s amazing review says, “Anger as an emotion is neither good nor bad” says the author of How Did We Become Angry, but what we do with it can deprive us of power and freedom, health and hope. Seeds sown in childhood pain can keep us living in the past, instead of drawing strength to grow to the future. This short book offers a Biblical approach to that growth, with practical suggestions and a personal guide.
The author brings life experience, her training as a Life Coach, and her faith to this book. In so doing, she offers an answer to many people’s prayers. But the true answers are in God, as is clear from the rest of this book's name, Lamb Ministries—Life Affirming Messages from the Bible.
Interspersing teaching with personal experience, adding short words of encouragement and kindness ('stop, rest... you might need a break'), and carefully working wisdom into simple exercises, the author shows readers how, guided by God, we can silence that “Committee in your head” which so eagerly "warns" us before we feel threatened, leaving us endlessly angry and short-changed.
'Forgiveness is a personal self-defining choice,' the author says. But she’s writing first of forgiving ourselves, not others. A clear call to faith answers that question of how the unforgiven can forgive. The Bible underpins the whole of this book, not just in well-chosen verses to carry a message, but also with lessons on how to read and pray, how to hear God’s voice through His word, and how to respond. 'God is as close as the verses before you are,' and He’s waiting to heal. We are not slow, not worthless, not weak, and every word that condemns us has its scripture to raise us up. The fallen world may have made us angry and buried us. But now it’s time to be “become” something more, to grow, and to be. The author has learned and taught this lesson well, and this book offers powerful encouragement through faith, not in ourselves, but in the Messiah Christ."
ABOUT THIS BOOK
Teaching the reader biblically relevant concepts, Paula Rose Michelson shows us how to choose the right Scriptures to heal our personal wounds. She sets up a system of praying our personal Scriptures in a prescribed manner and time to purge out the dross, believing that each reader who does the work can overcome what was before and grab hold of God’s blessings in Messiah. In this first book of her seven Christian lay-counseling Lamb Ministries 7x7, Biblical Recovery for Women Suffering from Trauma & Abuse, the author walks us though a portion of her own healing journey, which the Lord orchestrated. Then she tells us how those experiences helped women in need as she worked with her LAMB Ladies.
