My #5Star Review of A RELUCTANT MELODY by Sandra Ardoin

A Spellbinding Tour de Force about Forgiveness, Redemption & Love!
Having read and loved, Author Sandra Ardoin's ‘The Yuletide Angel’, I knew I would enjoy her newest novel as well! Layers of tension, longing, and secrets are woven artfully into the lives of this historical fiction played out against the moral strictures of the 1800's in North Carolina.

Now that Kit Barnes has seen Joanna Stewart six year after he used her shamefully and threw her away condemning both of them to live lives of regret will each finally be able to reconcile? Or will their secret yearning for each other be denied?

The themes of temptation, repentance, forgiveness, and love are sown like fine silk thread on brocade within this taunt telling where the characters must decide to believe in man's opinion of them or trust that Gods Word is true and He can redeem them.

The culmination of this book left me speechless, for though no one really knows either of them, both Kit and Joanna have to face their moral crucible and should they choose to believe what people think of them they are lost.

This story drew me closer to the Lord, and as an author made me wish I had written this book! amzn.to/1RPxewj
