Please welcome, Texan & author of "ROPED", DiANE Gates!

What Readers Are Saying the Novel Roped
“5Stars! Crying by the end of the first chapter, I was cheering by the last! I really enjoyed this book! The author had an almost magical way of making her characters, and the Texas rodeo culture, come to life. This book emphasized the importance of forgiveness, of keeping your temper, and of trusting in God. I plan on reading this story many more times in the future, and I would highly recommend it for teens and adults alike. I'm eagerly looking forward to the sequel!”

“5 Stars! Hard to put the book down, author, DiAne Gates has written a story that makes you feel you are actually there! There were times I found myself holding my breath, waiting for the outcome of what was happening at the moment. I felt like I got to know each of the characters of the story and it was written in such a way I could literally "see" what was going on and felt what each character of the story was feeling at that moment. The story line moves quickly and with each chapter you will find yourself drawn into the life of this young girl, feeling what she feels and wanting her to win!! How refreshing to see a story that has as its center such strong family ties, lessons in integrity and bonds that cannot be broken regardless of what life may throw in your path. I highly recommend this book, not only for young people but for adults as well. There are lessons for all of us to learn regardless of age.” Marie

My Interview with Author, DiANE Gates
Why do you write? I entered an essay contest when I was fifteen and won. The title was “The Basis of a Great Nation is a Christian Home”. I’ve been writing since that time about this same topic. I can’t not write. Christian homes are the backbone of America.

How did God direct you? My children were young when I launched into the art market via the means of local art shows. Watching fellow artists go home penniless, I told God we needed extra family income. And He laid on my heart to create color books for children. Even if paintings didn’t sell, the color books did. Then God spoke to my heart about parents not being able to teach what they don’t know, and my four book family devotional series, based on the color book characters, “The Master’s Plan”, came to life. We lost a twenty-eight-year-old daughter fifteen years ago and God not only directed me, He carried me through those difficult years of grief. Then led me to lead a GriefShare support group, where He has directed me for thirteen years.

What is your self-publishing or regular publishing experience? In 2014 I signed my first book contract with Prism Book Group to publish my YA Novel, “Roped”, and am in the process of completing the next book in this series, “Twisted”.

Where do you write? Anywhere the words come. On scrap paper, my computer, my laptop. In the backyard swing, waiting on doctors, in my chair alongside husband when he watches boring sports. When I signed a contract with Prism for “Roped” we took a spare bedroom and turned it into my office. My neighbor designed and built a twelve-foot desk across one end of the room. That desk top holds everything a gal needs to create—family photos, printer, computer, sewing machine, my paints and brushes, and my old computer—just in case.

Do you have any words of wisdom to pass along? “Roped” was my first novel. I sent it to two publishing houses and received two rejections, then threw it in a drawer—for years. After God called our daughter home, He led me to ACW and within thirty minutes of walking in the door found out why my manuscripts weren’t accepted. They screamed amateur. I joined North Texas Christian Writers and began the arduous word crafting process. Several years and three first place finishes later, in their Children’s Division, I signed with Prism. Moral of the stories? NEVER, NEVER, NEVER GIVE UP! Join a local writing group and educate yourself. Find folks who are bent on success and write and edit with them for as long as it takes. You will achieve your dream if you write within God’s will and for His glory, not your own.

About Author, Paula Rose Michelson
An avid reader of inspiring fictions where the heroine was one for her families' sake, amazing women, and unique faith challenges are found within author, Paula Rose Michelson's fictions. A writer from an early age, when asked about the idea for The Naomi Chronicles, Paula says, "I cannot take all the credit for Naomi started telling me her story, and together we penned the six fictions."

When not involved in writing, speaking or helping other writers, Paula Rose Michelson pursues other passions while supporting her husband Ron who is a Lutheran Pastor and Chosen People Ministries field missionary. At one point she and her spouse worked for the mission. However, her desire to write for the Lord full time lead her to leave that work so she could devote herself to this work.

This mother of two married daughters and grandmother of seven has been known to weave such wonderful tails that sometimes listeners lose track of the time. At her core, both family and her ever increasing reader family matter to Paula, so while writing to entertain, she hopes to impart a blessing to those who read her fictions and nonfiction's.

Some who first knew this author as the founder, head, and facilitator of LAMB Ministries, have mentioned that a few of those teachings are found within her books. Paula knows this to be true for her desire to faithfully depict Gods love, compassion, and forgiveness while showing her readers The Jewish Messiah of Israel and the world parallel her desire to see those precious wounded ones restored to wholeness, so within each of her books, she includes a few of her biblically based teachings so others can overcome and feel good about themselves.

Theresa Snyder shares why a SciFi Author wrote “WE 3” a Much Needed Book!

What Readers Are Saying About...
“This book reminded me of my childhood favorites - Laura Ingalls Wilder and Understood Betsy - because of the focus on the everyday lives of a loving family. It is full of touching details. For example, when I read how Theresa and her father worked for years on the garden so that the ailing mother could see her favorite plants & flowers from every single door & window, a tear came to my eye. It doesn't gloss over the tough parts of being a caregiver for aging parents - but the author's graceful sense of humor carries her through it all. Even though the topic of the book is aging, I'd say the book is more funny than sad. Reading it was a really soothing, peaceful experience for me. The book distracted me from my worries and made me thoughtful about the things that really matter in life.” — Charlotte Ashlock

“I recommend this book! Theresa's collection of essays on living with her parents as their adult caregiver shed light on the ups and downs of re-combining the family unit after years spent apart. There are the difficulties of merging households while maintaining respect for each other, the joys of connecting as friends beyond the hierarchal parent-child relationship, and the challenges of give-and-take as age and illness encroach on both the parent and the caregiver. These vignettes don't glamorize or soft-pedal, neither do they portray anyone as martyr or saint. This is how the Snyder household truly is, and we are invited to join them. If you take nothing away from this book but the fact that LOVE lives here, then I'm sure Theresa, Lorine, and James will be well-pleased.” —  JK Mohr
                                    Author Interview
Why do you write? I wrote We 3 because I saw the need for other baby boomers, like me, who were inheriting their parents to see they were not alone. I wanted to show that it didn’t have to be a chore. That you could learn from the experience.

How did God direct you? He gave me the ability to keep a sense of humor and the talent to write about it.

What is your self-publishing or regular publishing experience? I have been self-published since 2013. Prior to that I wrote for the local newspaper. We 3 is a compilation of those newspaper articles from my human interest column. I am on all the platforms so my international readers have access.

Where do you write? I write in my head mostly, then when I sit down at the computer I write in a room I built which I call The Moroccan Room. It is all jewel tones and very relaxing.

Do you have any words of wisdom to pass along? To authors, I would say, don’t get discouraged. It takes time to gain an audience. To readers, baby boomers in particular, relax and enjoy the moments with your elders. Remember, if you do, you won’t have to say, “I wish I had.”

Paula Rose Michelson’s Amazon Review: Having asked and been gifted We 3, by talented author, Theresa Snyder, I must share that this authors memoir of a daughter changing her life to care for her aging parents is one all who work in the field of Gerontology and those who live with, or care for the elderly need to read. We 3 is a touching, funny, love and family affirming great primer for children who find their parents aging in ways they could have never imagined. Though written with great love, respect, and understanding, the author shows us what it's like to give up our freedom to live with and handle the difficulties the elderly face when only a short while ago they were taking care of us! Having chosen to be the one to support all my husbands and my aging family members, I know being prepared is critical! Therefore, were I rich, I would gift a copy to each family, doctor, senior retirement facility and every person taking classes in senior issues! All this said, I urge you to read and keep this on your shelf so when the time comes you’ll have a reference that shows the joy within the journey!

Book Marketing 101: Key Word Tags Help Shoppers find Your Book!

I developed the new Back Matter for No Other Choice because, recently becoming a PromoCave author, my Amazon author page, and everything posted there for the marketing of this Amazon Women’s Romantic Inspirational Family Fiction Bestseller was reviewed by Jorge Olson. The error he found was significant! Aware that key words tags help shoppers find books, I hadn’t used them in the books Back Matter! Now I have!! Furthermore, my bio wasn't about me, but my books! Today, I've posted the rewitten Back Matter for each novel in The Naomi Chronicles Saga, which now includes the novels key words. At the end of this article you'll find my rewritten bio, that tells readers about me and my passion for writing. Links to PromoCave, and locations where Key Word Tags lists are found are located at the end of this article.

NO OTHER CHOICE: While hiding two secrets that would be her undoing, Naomi journeys from adolescence to womanhood, from frightened isolation and captivity to the noble status of heiress. Trapped in a life where all who know her think her a saint, saddled with a mission and responsibilities few would agree to, Naomi marries to sidestep more issues and the couples tangled web escalates for neither are what they seem to be making this inspirational family faith saga one women love.

EDITORIAL REVIEW: “A faith based read about love, life and forgiveness there are things we must do in our Christian walk, but life choices can make these things seem to be pushed far back and our fleshy desires forefront.” — Reviews by SweetReadz Mag  http://amzn.to/1tN7hEp

CHOOSING to BE: Longing, lies, desire and passion give Naomi and Chaz no rest as they try to figure out how to live without the one their heart cannot forget or forgive. In this uniquely inspiring family faith saga, we see a bride in flight instead of facing the fall out of her revealed secrets. Alienated from all who loved and affirmed her, with no place to stay, God will gift her everything if — finding herself embraced by people who care — Naomi discovers the ‘Lover of her Soul’.

Will Naomi’s friendship with a ‘Titus 2 Woman’ and the blessings found at ‘Blessings Rock’ bring her to Christ? Can a husband who refuses to forgive his wife handle what he discovers when visiting his family? Is there is more between Chaz and Naomi than their unfulfilled longing? Only God can fix what is broken between this star-crossed couple, and if he does will the romance they both long and hunger for finally be realized?

EDITORIAL REVIEW: “A fascinating layered read, the tension between characters leaves you breathless in anticipation. I admit I had to cheat a little and check to make sure there was a happily ever after! Never fear! There is! The plot twists, turns and carries you all the way to the end hoping Chaz and Naomi find each other again! For those looking for a great book... pick it up!” - Kitty Muse Book Reviews  http://amzn.to/1zV9oKP

BEGINNING ANEW: Beginning where the last book ended, after a month of individual soul searching, Chaz and Naomi have married again. Driven by their desire for each other, inspired by their faith in Christ, each is eager to ignite the fire of passion that flickered and died when secrets were revealed.

Aware that secrets almost ended their marriage before, each knows they must share them. While this star-crossed couple tries to keep their passion to an ember, many who live in El Barrio begin to foment a riot. As the hatred for their once beloved and admired Tía escalates so does this couples passion and need for their spouse. Will God intervene so they can experience the blessings of their union? Will Naomi learn to trust Chaz and can Chaz discover the blessing of loving Naomi as Christ does us.

Captivated by this multilayered, romantic saga, women eagerly await each new book, of which there are three more novels still to be published.

EDITORIAL REVIEW: “A heroine learning to love the man she needs and a hero in love with a woman whose duty is tearing her apart. Together they find the strength to face their fears with love built upon an unshakable faith. Author Paula Rose Michelson captures the complexities of human emotion like few authors I've read. Passion, duty, fear, revenge, courage, prejudice and love are woven into this truly gripping story which so well illustrates that which makes us human.” – Book Reviewer, Amazon Bestselling Author, William Struse http://amzn.to/1zV9oKP
